GOAT was too good for Mugray on his preferred surface...
Just further confirming that Slam winners >>> slamless losers

Such nice words. You truly are a class act.
To answer your question, my optimism is now in Indian Wells. By the way, how does it feel to be so sadly pess...sorry REALISTIC all the time? It's quite saddening that you're being so smug about being right that Murray lost. How sad.

Bravo! Great post...Roger was putting a ton of pressure by holding his serves so decisively and hitting ridiculously unpredictable returns and by playing so well at the net. Every time Murray walked up to serve he had to feel that pressure of wanting to hit a great first serve... and guess what! He wasn't able to land those first serves because his brain was working overtime wondering about what Roger would do next. This is a fast court and it's all about shotmaking and execution. On a fast court you have to execute the attacking shot. That is what Djokovic experienced against Murray and today Murray faced the master of this. Good for tennis that the better player won. Murray still had a great tournament and showed some great shotmaking too.

That was in response to your bad rep. Also, I sent that comment with a good rep. You left those tidbits out, though.

Good albeit not brilliant match. Happy to see Roger winning of course, but there is nothing terminally wrong with Andy. His time will come and probably very soon once we move to slower courts of IW and Miami. On very fast courts and particularly indoors Roger is still #1.

I had forgotten how annoyingly long the Dubai ceremony was. They're still talking and haven't given Fed his trophy yet.

You clearly don't really understand what I was meaning, but that's okay. I wasn't expecting anyone like you to realy understand.
I was talking about talent, game style and the enjoyment you get out of watching them. I was talking about how good their games are to watch and how good their matches are. They blow Nadal and Djokovic away in these categories. Do you understand now, Clydey?

Wake me up when the Ferrer-Verdasco match starts. Can't possibly be as bad as this one.

Nadal and Djokovic are the best when the court is slowed down enough so they play catch up to aggressive shots and then outgrind people. The Australian Open final was 6 hours of grinding, dude.
