Francis and Eduardo Nava have WCs into Tulsa. Hopefully they get good draws and GL.

Re: 1997-1998 Juniors: Wiersholm, Nava, Kozlov, Tiafoe, Mmoh, Blumberg, Ponwith, etc.
1st round winners: Wiersholm, Tiafoe, Mmoh, Rybakov, Thirouin, Nava, Clark, and Paul. Not bad.
Tommy and his random upsets If the trend continues, he will probably lose his next match . Why can't he go deep?

Pretty good again today overall. Don't give Francis any chance against Noah tomorrow but he's done well anyway.

Francis lost 7-6 ??, good effort. Michael lost too, unfortunately. Not surprising because Lederman is like three years older.

Tommy won, great job. Maybe an outside shot against Spencer?

I'm so happy for Tommy, tired of seeing him upsetting seeded players only to lose in the next round. I don't think he will beat Spencer though. Francis and Michael .

Here's what Lederman said about Mmoh:
Quote:
|
"Our points were so long," said Lederman. "He's really good, hits the ball really well, it was just a grind. I said to myself, I'm older, if I can stay in the match, I'm going to have a good chance, because he's probably going to be more immature. But he's really, really good. I served well when I needed to, and stayed in the points as long as possible until he made the mistake, and that was the match."
|
I honestly think that Mmoh will get exponentially better in the next 3 or so years and will be the most improved junior in that timespan. I think he has so much potential. And his naturally tall, athletic build gives him an advantage.

Didn't I say Michael was my dark-horse If Henrik doesn't pan out, hopefully Michael will; then, at least I will be 50% correct
Good effort by Tommy and good luck to Micahel and Francis in the doubles semi

62 75 for Michael, Cheng-Yu YU (TPE) [11] next. Don't know what to expect as Yu had some good wins including one over JD but that was on clay. Anyway, GL Michael
