Gilles match starts now. He's in new outfit, green T-shirt. Hopefully, we get to see that outfit more than once this week.

Just as expected, his serves very soft, about 95 m/h. So he's not missing many. Probably the right way, to start the ball rolling.
Unfortunately, he got broken the first serve game.

There was no call for Gilles shot, Russell returns and it's called out. Then Russell challenges the previous shot. It's out. He gets the point. And umpire tells Gilles he has two challenged remaining. DID I MISS SOMETHING.

Russell was challenging Gilles' shot on his baseline, except he didn't really stop play, he played the ball back but missed it, and then he challenged Gilles' shot, and the Umpire let him. That's why Gilles was mad. |

okay that was weird
scoreboard said gilles got a break but he went down 0-30 on his serve but now its 4-4 but he's serving

It's deuce, 5 all Russell serving. Gilles just had two break points but both wasted with bad UEs.

Scoreboard was messed up. But it's correct now. He's leading 6-5. Now he can serve the set out. Please Gilles, do serve it out.
