Re: Week 12: Marrakech (Entry List)
So tight from Andrey
All Marc is going to do is wait for an error.

Re: Week 12: Marrakech (Entry List)
Marco lost this sort of match? These types of matches are his matches............he was the one who failed at the end and choked. I understand his anger. Losing to a choking young kid by choking yourself. Terrible result, Marc.

Re: Week 12: Marrakech (Entry List)
So since Pere, Marc and Simon are all out in R1 of the top section, what was once a great section where one favorite I knew should advance to the SF has turned ugly fast. I hope Giannessi makes it through that section now. And I definitely hope Blaz makes the finals. Kavcic vs. Hanescu/DelBo final would be awesome.

Gombos from *3-4 down to a 6-4 victory. Munoz won 7/23 service points in the third set.

it was a pathetic performance by De la Nava... he was leading *3-0 in the final set, winning his first service game at love; after that, he was broken four times in a row, winning just 3/19 points on serve, against a player ranked outside top-400... it's been an awful start of the season for Daniel, something similar to Arnau Brugués (another spanish lefty). At this rate, they'll be playing futures soon... too bad because they didn't defend a lot of points these first months of the year and could've gotten close to top-100

Re: Week 12: Marrakech (Entry List)
Yes and I made an error, Munoz had *4-3 and then got broken. In any case, it's a pathetic loss for Munoz, but Munoz doesn't have the type of game where he's secure of beating anyone. He lacks weapons and relies solely on fighting. But this is a terrible loss.

Re: Week 12: Marrakech (Entry List)
Brugues-Davi struggled indoors, which isn't his surface. But then he lost in Miami to Lorenzi after having set points, which is a surface that should suit his game. Brugues-Davi is very much, IMO, a surface player in terms of the fact his game only works on particularly surfaces, and he's horrible elsewhere. Disappointing, though, as he was progressing pretty nicely until the past few months.

Re: Week 12: Marrakech (Entry List)
Tomorrow's OOP is interesting. Donskoy vs Delbonis will be a hard hitting match. I hope DelBo wins but he won't, the Russian I fully expect will take it.
Duckworth vs Carreno-Busta seems even. Good opportunity for both. Also will be interesting to see how Hanescu bounces back from his R1 match physically.
Hopefully Blaz wins his match comfortably.
