$200,000 for a tennis lesson...
Some people have too much money:

At the Elton John live auction, they just sold a tennis lesson taught by Rafael Nadal, for $200,000.

At least it's for charity. Though whoever bought it may regret it if they followed MTF as the overwhelming opinion would probably be that Nadal can't teach anything about tennis given that he doesn't know how to play it himself.

Somebody should tell the winning bidder that "tennis lessons" with an ATP player are not the same as the ones cougars have at the club with hunky instructors. They involve clothes being kept on, for the most part.

Recognize them, don't engage and put 'em on your ignore list where they belong. Feed a troll and you're just encouraging their attention-seeking.

Re: $200,000 for a tennis lesson...
It's a charity action
Is the norm that the silliest things to be actioned at the silliest prices at this kind of event. And the money goes to good causes instead of the IRS so...

Re: $200,000 for a tennis lesson...
Just rich people looking for a tax deduction and good publicity.
I wonder what Nadal's advice would be? "Ok, use left hand. It doesn't matter you right handed. Now whip it over you head. Vamos. Backhand? Don't worry bout that. Serve- you just hit over the net to they backhand."

Apparently, the lesson was bought by a wealthy Basel resident. He is so far only known by the initials of R.F.

For someone not speaking spanish the true value of the lesson is around 10-20 dollars.

eh, you guys are being too cynical about rafa's instructional abilities. He already wastes time on the court as well as any pro you have in your local town.

Easy peasy no? Even Martin Verkerk managed that, and more!

Didn't he have enough of those, and for free?
