What a loss. A true legend. I still have his show The Monkees in my computer and what a legendary act he has put together in it. RIP.

The Monekees are a band that history hasnt been as kind to as others, in the sense that they are l;ess remeberted than others, BUT;

They were "the american beatles"..at least in theory..
