You either have the ego the size of Russia or you have the ego the size of the Vatican city trying to blow it up to the size of Russia.

 sorry ild, i expressed myself badly cos i was typing in a hurry. what i meant was that i was cracking up reading the book because besides the jokes i was also laughing at their portrayal of the belgians because i was imagining your indignation.
fantastic book. my fave bit was how at home obelix was at the idea of the breakfast followed by lunch.
i read about the bravest warriors thing that's the whole premise of asterix in belgium  chief vitalstatix gets super annoyed by caesar's declaration and so he sets off for belgium accompanied by asterix and obelix. then they have a wager and old julius comes to preside and his troops get beaten up. just brilliant
