plus,US Open courts are fast enough for fed to hit through nadal and get cheap points.
they are 6-2 in GS Finals , while 4 of their meeting have been at RG !
but i know you dont read posts , just trying post your B.S non-sense opinions , over and over and over and over agian !

another Fail post from you Clay Fail.
you have no clue here , just talking trash.seriously , what's you opinion about a Match-Up between Fed and Rafa at US Open SF?
Tell me why do you think Nadal gonna win that match ? and don't bring H2H argument up , cause they never played at US Open (Fed leads 4-0 in indoor meeting which means Conditions are a big FACTOR in their match-up)
give me some good Tennis-Wise reason about your opinion ! just one good post , that's all i want from you , then you can go back to your normal-mode.

Re: Roger Federer : The Quest For 20 Slams and 100 Titles
The H2H of Roger vs Rafa is very deceiving, what happen if they meet in 20 matches 5 in each surface, How much different will be the H2H?
Clay: Rafa 5 - Federer 0(Except if the match is in blue clay )
Hard(I): Federer 5 - Rafa 0
Hard(O): Rafa 3 - Federer 2(All depends where is the match if is AO, Miami will be for Rafa, but Cinci, US Open will win Roger)
Grass: Federer 4 - Rafa 1 (or maybe a 3-2, but the match than loss Federer in 2008 he had mono u.ú)
For me will be a 11-9 for Roger, everything will be different

Re: Roger Federer : The Quest For 20 Slams and 100 Titles
you have no right to say these B.Ss
isn't this thread about Fed being able to win 100 titles?
we're talking about Tennis , and why we think he has a good chance to win US Open
if you have no Tennis-Wise reason for what your'e saying , just STFO and let TRUE Tennis Fans talk About Tennis.
The only Blind Hater i see here is you that just trying to worshiping Nadal and acting like your a Fed Fan.
any way , i think if Fed can make it to Wimbledon SF he has a great chance to win it all , i fear only 2 player , Tsonga and Berdych .
i think he has a good chance at Cincy and US Open . i hope he will skip Toronto , and an early Exit at Bercy will make sense.

Re: Roger Federer : The Quest For 20 Slams and 100 Titles
Roger Federer has to be full of confidence, winning Wimbledon and reaching #1 at the same time. No one can discount that.
In the past, players with that level of confidence tend to go on streaks for a period of time.
As I said earlier, I think he can win 3 to 5 titles the rest of the year. If we add in the confidence factor I just mentioned, I'm going to give Federer an optimistic count of 5 more for a total of 10 titles this year. That's 80 titles by the end of 2012. That's a super year for any player and makes it easier for him to get to 100.
If he stays relatively healthy and plays till at least 2016 as he has mentioned, that's 4 years to reach 100 or an average of 5 titles/year. I also think that his motivation will increase the closer he gets to 100 (and perhaps even to Connors 109). He's already mentioned the 100 title figure as one possible goal in a video in this thread. And his age is not part of the equation yet. A player of his fitness and style can play well into his mid-30's or later, especially if he plays primarily on surfaces that reward that style.
Which 5 titles/year? Don't forget that starting Jan 1, 2013, he is not required to play any masters. So he can cherry pick his schedule. Rotterdam indoors, maybe Dubai outdoors, perhaps a small clay tourney, a small grass tourney, and a couple of fall indoor tourneys, and possibly he has a major or two left in him in the next year or two. One con will be how he might handle a bit of a rankings slide if he stops playing many of the masters.
Overall, I don't see it as a big stretch as long as he remains healthy, enjoying tennis, and family issues don't force him to stop.
Respectfully,
masterclass

Re: Roger Federer : The Quest For 20 Slams and 100 Titles
Good post, masterclass. One more detail that we might consider for the late Roger Federer (artist-style ) is that from 2015 there will be one additional week before Wimbledon. Surely that may boost his chances of winning more grass titles. Although I will very much doubt if he plays 2 grasscourt events before Wimbledon even in his mid-30s.

He's playing well.
Hope he keeps it up. I believe.
In this form, he can beat anyone.

I don't old sport, and neither does the ATP as far as I know. It's al about who walks home with that gold medal around the neck. Silver and bronze are for losers.

Well, I'm sure the Federer fans and tennis in general will be glad to see that if it happens!
Ken "Muscles" Rosewall did it, winning his last tournament at 43 in 1977. Richard "Pancho" Gonzalez beat Connors at the age of 43 in 1971.
