Re: How Will Davydenko Handle This Epic Choke?
He just takes it in stride, it's good knowing that despite his epic chokes, there are players who choke worse that he owns almost as badly as Roger owns him, Verdasco, for example, and Nadal on hard courts.

If it was Nadull across the net, it would have been a piggy roast 6-4, 6-1 perhaps .

Re: How Will Davydenko Handle This Epic Choke?
Er...your post is an Epic Choke.
Davy played really well. He missed that one backhand that just clipped the top of the net. Lot of positives to take from this match. Hope to see him back in the top 10 at least if he can make quarters consistently.

Re: How Will Davydenko Handle This Epic Choke?
Isn't Kolya on a 4 match winning streak against Nadal?

Re: How Will Davydenko Handle This Epic Choke?
Davydenko was done before this match anyway. So I do not think it makes a big difference.

No there wasn't. OP should be ashamed for posting such a thread and close it immediately.
Mr. Davydenko played very well, and fought very, very, bravely, saving a total of 10 break points, especially in the final set where he saved 5 break points when Mr. Federer was playing well. He forced Federer to fight and elevate his game to the higher levels in the last 3 games to beat him.
Davydenko should be proud of his effort, but also disappointed that he couldn't win it in the end.
Respectfully,
masterclass

Re: How Will Davydenko Handle This Epic Choke?
Two questions: How much betting action was there in this match? and How badly will Krajicek beat him up if he knocks out the crowd-pleaser before Sunday?
I kid, I kid.
