How Will Davydenko Handle This Epic Choke?
Up a set and a break Davydenko fails to hold on and drops four games in a row to lose the second set.
Then up 3-4 0-40 on Federer's serve in the third, Davydenko loses 13 of the last 14 points to hand Federer the match on a silver platter.
So will Davydenko build on this match and start showing his '09 form again? Or will this send him back into his downward spiral?

Re: How Will Davydenko Handle This Epic Choke?
When he had 0-40, only one of the points Fed won to win that game was an UE, I think. Don't know if that's really a choke.
He should build on this performance. Can be a top 20 player if he keeps it up.

He hit the ball cleaner today than I've seen him do in a long while. Hopefully that is what he will take from this match instead of the failing mental strength on that one BP.

At least he is in a position where choking is possible. Couldn't say that a few months ago

unlike AO 2010 choke where he had been on a hot streak, this is a couple of excellent matches from him out of nowhere. the same fed destroyed him in doha so much to be happy about in the kolya camp today.

Don't expect retards to have an actual memory. Davy saved some 10 bps. Came back from a lot of 0-30 defeciets.

Re: How Will Davydenko Handle This Epic Choke?
it was more of a strategic blunder than a choke. donkey calling for a trainer up a set and a break was his downfall. federer immediately broke and took the next five games and the set.

Considering how crap he was playing last year this is a step in the right direction. He needs to build on his success this week and not wallow in self pity.

when you've got Mardy Fish in your avy whose NEVER won a MS;NEVER gotten to the semis of a slam you don't fucking bash the winner of 3 Masters Series;4x slam semifinalist and 2009 ATP World Tour Finals and the winner of 17 other titles and I sure hope he takes it out on Nadal
