Rotterdam SF: Fed vs. Davydenko
Goat vs. the second coming of Kolya.
I'm pretty sure this will be a rout, but others think Davy's performance against Gasquet was remarkable. I think it was just Gasquet being Gasquet. Of course Fed wasn't very convincing, but he usually plays better as a tourney drags on.

Re: Rotterdam SF: Fed vs. Davydenko
Yes Davy played very well today but I found Roger quite good and most of all Davydenko lacks confidence to play great tomorrow again against Roger, I guess.
Roger will give him less time to prepare his shots and he's still not as quick as he was at his best.
Also his serve is still not good enough to compete with Roger.
But I hope he will play well.

Re: Rotterdam SF: Fed vs. Davydenko
Fed will go up a break in the first set, then lose it, then take the first set in a breaker and cruise through the second. Book it.

Re: Rotterdam SF: Fed vs. Davydenko
Fed in 2. Even if Davy manages to channel some of his former brilliance as he did against Gasquet, Fed is not going to be so generous in providing short balls and errors.

Too bad Kolya isn't playing Nadal here.

Re: Rotterdam SF: Fed vs. Davydenko
Love this match. Good tennis is granted.
I see Roger winning this in 2, Davy can't beat Rog again, even if he's playing very well.
Don't misunderstand me, I love Davy and I'd me bappy with his victory, but I can't see it happening.
However, if Rog finally wins, I see the final as a really difficult match, Berdych and Delpu are playing quite good and Roger is in Routinerer-mode.
We all know if Roger plays 10% of the match in his GOD-Mode, no player has chance to win.
Time will tell.

Re: Rotterdam SF: Fed vs. Davydenko
All things considered, Davydenko. The Basel Dazzle is not in good form. However, the tourney organizers might not be too happy about that because they want Fed around until the finals.
