Dolgo-Tomic followed closely by Darcis-Serra.

The Djokovic vs Nadal match was outstanding. I would know. I was courtside. Only finals match i went to.

Re: Best Match of the Australian Open 2012?
Voted Djoker-Murray. Tomic-Dolgo & Nadal-Berdych were also good.

Re: Best Match of the Australian Open 2012?
Berdych's first two sets v Nadal were pretty darn good.

Re: Best Match of the Australian Open 2012?
for pure tennis class, you know what I do, I turn good old fed-roddick matches on utube. a headless donkey running about like a cretin, being drilled through all his holes by a master who appears to have it all.
but is that 'best'?
well that depends. for me a sporting quality is something I dont really have to watch over and over again, but rather what I internally experience while observing it as it happens. 'living' it right up with those guys. in that sense 3 matches that Ive seen stand out from AO, it was dolgo tomic, when I think tomic showed great steel, murray djoko, and to top them all, djoko nadal which was just unbelievable to experience. subjective, yes, entirely. but thats it.

Did you watch the whole match courtside?

Re: Best Match of the Australian Open 2012?
Toss up between Novak's semi and final match. Murray, playing his best, brings more variety of game than Nadal. Both were great matches, but I would give the semi the slight edge.
