I've read another case of boycott of Canal+ by a Spanish institutional somewhere.
Either these institutions really think that the direction of Canal+ is "behind the sketches" (it would make sense but you know it's wrong if you get some information),
or, which is more likely in my opinion,
they believe that they can manage to convince the direction of Canal+ to strengthen the Guignols' authors to stop.
It would be the first time that the Guignols' authors would succumb to such a pressure ! I was always surprised that they could keep on their sketches about the French football championship being totally boring and laughing at the directors of Canal+ who payed so much for that, it was clearly bad for the company's interests but they were allowed to keep on and on, also constantly laughing at Canal+ animators' drawbacks and weaknesses

And what they constantly do about the government
Will the authors succumb to that ? I don't know but the fact is there have been less sketches about that recently, but it's hard to know why, as the presidential campaign has been really launched last week in France, and there are more interesting sketches to make and anyway they may have no more ideas about that doping case (recently they showed Contador rather than Nadal but he's much less famous and interesting

).
Also, maybe they think that the Spanish reactions have been so much over the top that there's less fun when there's so much hatred and tear from one country to another rather than inside France where we don't take that so seriously.
