Re: Ajde, Vamos, Allez, Come On or YA! Which warcry is most effective?
Translations please, for:
Dobar
Tako je
Jaci si kurac bre
Thank you!
Also, if any Swede here knows what the equivalent of a Swedish "come on" would be, please let me know!
Also, navy75 is right. "Come on" in English is almost as much of a taunt to the opponent as it is a cry to pump oneself up.

Nole + Ajde + leg up = Golden Slam
Ajde.

I don't see the difference between "Come on" and Allez/Vamos, all of them can be directed to self or opponent by the meaning. I mean, it depends on how loud and openly you do this - Hewitt is known for that. But for example, Gael does pump himself up with Allez rather loudly, too, that can be taken as a taunt by the other player I think.

Fair enough, I don't have nearly enough of a mastery with these other languages to read all of the nuance in the various connotations. I am always happy to hear as much elaboration as possible.
"Let's go" in English, which is the closer equivalent to "Vamos" and "Allez" in Spanish and French, sounds more innocent than "Come on," which is often more pointedly directed at another person. It's similar to "bring it on," in a way.
I'd like to see them start yelling, "U MAD BRO?!"

That "Ajde" is totally Ivanović/Janković thing, and as such doesn't belong to a men's tennis forum.
Fans crying "Ajde, Nole" is a completely different thing, which has nothing to do with the original question.
Therefore, the original poll option "Ajde" should be substituted by "Dobar!", and that's also the correct answer.

Wow. You totally read my mind. I was about to post something to the effect of "I've never heard Novak say that; maybe I'm a bad fan; I've only heard Ana say (scream ) it, etc." Glad to see that I'm not completely crazy

Hence why he should add it to his repertoire for even more invincibility.
Ajde

I'm offended you think I'm a troll at all, let alone a hyper one.
