Against Rafa? On Clay. Actually, the slow court helps Novak. It used to help Rafa but Novak does not miss at all these days and moves so well on it. He did lose to Roger on it though so he is more vulnerable there.

Hang on, doesnt anyone remember what happened last year in the masters series? It was actually Nadal running Djokovic very close in the HC encounters. Nole actually destroyed Nadal a lot worse on clay.

Infact Nadal limped through the clay masters and very early on in RG 2010/2011 looked terrible.

I for one feel Nadal has LESS chance against Djokovic on clay then he does on hardcourt. Especially now its clear that Novak is every bit as fit as Nadal. That 5 set factor wont come into it. Infact id go so far as to say id be very shocked if Nadal even forced Djoker to 5 at Paris.
Well if Nadal does decide on being more agressive like he says he wants to against Nole then I suppose clay is the most difficult to do it on, so I'm inclined to agree.

It's just mindboggling to me that Nole could have had his 5th straight slam had Roger not meddled in that thing last year.

With the current Wimbledon and many of the slow hard court surfaces, there is not much difference between clay, hard, or grass.
The only different kind of courts are the kind of indoor courts say at Paris-Bercy and perhaps Cincinnati or some of the other non-Wimbledon grass court tournaments. I haven't thoroughly researched Mr. Djokovic's surface records. As far as majors go, his best slam tournament is definitely Australia at Rod Laver Arena. He has never reached the finals at Roland Garros losing to Mr. Nadal, Mr. Federer, or some other clay court adept player.

Respectfully,

No. He has only 1 title in his life on the grass surface, and only because it was the new Wimbledon, slower high bouncing surface.

He has 21 titles on hard (4 majors), 7 titles on clay (0 majors), 1 title on grass (1 major).

The different tennis court surfaces really affect the players differently. Rafa certainly plays best on clay.

His best surface are the hard courts where he's won 22 of his 30 titles.

I know, dammit Roger you party pooper, I just hope he doesn't get in the way of a RAFOLE French Open final this year, I'd be pretty annoyed if that happened again...

Sorry, back on topic: Nole's best surface is definitely hard courts

Slow/medium HC is his best surface. He moves better on HC than on clay. It's easier to outhit and outmaneuver him on clay than it is on HC, as Federer and Murray both showed last year on the surface.
