Re: Do you consider Novak Djokovic as a legend in the game?
His complete and utter Domination of nadull the disgusting moonballer is legendary ,,, nadull is the first player in history to lose 3 straight GS finals,, if this keeps up he could have the worst losing streak for all-time greats,

Re: Do you consider Novak Djokovic as a legend in the game?
The way he took down Nadal after Nadal had his best year will be talked about for years to come.
7 straight wins over a legend in his prime is very serious historically and with 3 straight slams and 4 straight masters, 2 of the masters against the best clay courter of all time on clay.
He also beat Fed and Murray at slams to get at Nadal.
I have a strong feeling there's more to come.
Not a legend yet.

Wilander has 7 Majors, while Becker and Edberg has 6. And that is tennis, Becker and Edberg considered alot bigger legends than Wilander. Becker is one of the Wimbledon's all-time greats like Edberg is one of all-tennis greats. He can tight on RG with them but he will need more GS to actually surpass them. I think Rafa will atleast win one Major this season (RG and one the other two).
He is very close to become a legend.

Re: Do you consider Novak Djokovic as a legend in the game?
He is not a legend but he is a more succesful player that Hewitt, Murray and Roddick put together! 10 masters titles 5 slams 1 tour finals and a davis cup! not a legend but he is rapidly carving his place in history, that is fact!

You can't really call me bitter for stating the obvious. He has 5 slams, big deal. Lendl, Borg, Sampras, Federer and co. have 8-16 slams. Notice the BIG difference there? Djokovic has a long way to go before he can be called a legend.

murray has 0 ! still think he,ll win more than Djokovic?

One more GS title will end this debate. Already most ppl consider him as a legend in the game as the poll shows.

Needless question, of course he is. And he will hopefully keep adding to that legend.

Re: Do you consider Novak Djokovic as a legend in the game?
Probably one slam away. Becker and Edberg are legends and they have six.

Re: Do you consider Novak Djokovic as a legend in the game?
With 6 slams he will be up there with few of greatest players ever, also he has many other accomplishments that shold be mentioned, i think if he will make USO QF he will tie Lendl´s QF streak record which is best after Roger´s, than i think he is youngest guy to reach all slam SF´s in open era and many more, hope 1 day he will win that RG trophy and really be among greatest ever without no doubts.

Re: Do you consider Djokovic a legend in the game?
Of course Djokovic is actually a legend.
And he can only increase his achievements in order to be in the select group of the greatest of all time.
But that´s very dificult. Anyway, if he stops winning right now and retires, he will remain as a legend.
Come on, he is not Rafter, Ríos, Kafelnikov, etc.
