I watch tennis, as a fan of tennis. I don't see the need to talk about the technicalities of tennis, as I was never a good player and wouldn't consider myself an armchair expert - like a lot of people on here would. I'm just a normal fan.
I think you know more than you are giving yourself credit. Some of the so called experts write and say baffling things that you wonder how they ever became successful players. Patterns in tennis are not hard to spot especially for those that watch tennis year in year out over many years.
Djokovic was lucky to survive that. 2012 is looking very good for Andy. He didn't manage to defend his final points, but that doesn't matter. Another semi-final, a nice looking scoreline and a lot of points to be won in the next month or two.
I'm looking forward to your next tournament, Andy.
As expected, the haters are out in full force. Enjoy his losses while they last. He'll win that slam soon and then you'll have nothing to hang on to.
Well said. Murray gained a lot of fans today. I welcome everyone onto the Muzza express .
I've never liked Murray but he earned his stripes today. He stopped being a sulky brat and finally manned-up. Both players deserve credit for today's match but the way Nole turned it around when he looked out of it was incredible to see. He's the best clutch player in tennis right now and it's the mark of a champion to be able to dig deep and win a match when you're not playing your best tennis. Some of the groundstrokes he hit, particularly in the 5th set were out of this world. Great match from both players.
I think this was a bad match from Djokovic. He was not agressive in the most part of the match. The serve was very inconsistent, not a high % of first serves.
I think it was a bad match from both and i´m not so sure of Murray´s improvement.
