Re: 1994-1996 : Rubin, Kwiatkowski, Halebian, Papa, Corinteli, McDonald, Donaldson,
https://www.lta.org.uk/fans-major-ev...l/News/GBvUSA/
Looks like there's a slightly different schedule here with Halebian playing Bambridge and Edmund playing Papa.
Also, if correct, McDonald lost 6-4 6-4 to 16yr old Peter Ashley....I'm floored. I almost can't believe it.
Krueger beat Ward-Hibbert 6-3, 5-7, 6-4.
Papa is receiving down a set and a break 4-6 4-5
Halebian match just started on serve at 0-1

Re: 1994-1996 : Rubin, Kwiatkowski, Halebian, Papa, Corinteli, McDonald, Donaldson,
 what a blowout
Krueger def. Ward Hibbert, no surprise there
Ashley def. McDonald, no comments
Bambridge def. Halebian, no surprise really; Halebian is pretty useless outside of clay.
Edmund def. Papa, also no surprise . It is not hard imagining him and Halebian playing claycourt tennis on grasscourt .
Ward Hibbert def. Rubin. Even if Ward Hibbert is not a great singles player on other surfaces, he still has more experiences than Rubin on grass.
Broady def. Krueger, not surprised he ran out of gas in the 2nd set after a tough battle with Ward-Hibbert. Hope that he can get a late start on Sunday for the Roehampton tournie.
Overall a great experience for them. I hope that they learn a lot playing against experienced grass players and good luck in the upcoming tournament.

Re: 1994-1996 : Rubin, Kwiatkowski, Halebian, Papa, Corinteli, McDonald, Donaldson,
It seems like we kinda lack all-surface juniors. We have mostly hardcourt or claycourt specialists. Our claycourt players tend to suck on hardcourt and vice versa. Also the ones with the all-around game tend to be physically limited. This is very concerning.

OH MY GOD this is a mouth watering match for me! Two of my favorite players going at it! I wish I was there to see it! Gosh I think so highly of the 1996 generation. I just think there's a whole lot of potential top 10ers in that group.

I don't think he'd be very thankful if he lost at least.

There are a lot of rumors floating around about Krueger not going to college

Re: 1994-1996 : Rubin, Kwiatkowski, Halebian, Papa, Corinteli, McDonald, Donaldson,
I think he should play some futures this summer to see how it goes. If it doesn't go well, he should go to college.
