It's Muhammad Ali's birthday this week. The one and only greatest ever. Most charismatic inspiring athlete ever. Most famous too. People talk about meeting Ali and share memories, this is a nice way to celebrate Muhammad Ali. It's too long of a read to post all in here so here is just the link. I met him once as a kid my dad took me to his training camp in Pennsylania and he posed for photos with me and my bro, he even signed our magazine and Nike shoebox (because we had nothing else to sign). Amazing memory, he was nice and friendly to us, remember him asking to see my stance for boxing. ALI ALI ALI!

I'm currently reading a book written by Michael J Fox (and apparently, he really writes his books himself, so no ghost writer) "Always Looking Up".

As both Fox and Ali suffer from Parkinson's, they've met and talked several times.

Fox tells about an event organised to collect money for Parkinson's research and he says that people just go crazy when they see Ali (crazy in a nice way, according to Fox). He said that the illness has affected Ali in such a way that his face has turned into a mask (not able to show facial expressions - the same is happening to Michael) so people often think that Ali's mind is not really there any more but Michael J Fox says that from talking to Ali, he can assure people that the great man is still very much there. He still has a sharp mind with a wicked sense of humor behind that mask.
