Re: Why Do You Prefer Mens Tennis over Women's Tennis?
I find women's tennis boring. The Matches are so full of service breaks!

Re: Why Do You Prefer Mens Tennis over Women's Tennis?
I don't find the majority of the women that interesting. The male players hold my interest much more, especially Federer, Nadal, Ferrer, Ferrero and Nishikori. Many of the women make way too much noise, particularly Sharapova and Azarenka. I can't stand their screaming.

I think posts like this should be a banable offence.

Re: Why Do You Prefer Mens Tennis over Women's Tennis?
I prefer the WTA because of the drama when both players are really fighting for every point. It is more expressive. The competitieness, intensity and emotion is off the chart.
I can't bare men's tennis most of the time, but I still watch it because of the spectacle and for the matches between the elite 4. Basically I can't bare how many aces and unreturned serves there are.
That Fish - Mahut match at Wimbledon should forever be remembered for showing how ridiculous men's tennis runs the risk of becoming. Technology is working against it.

Re: Why Do You Prefer Mens Tennis over Women's Tennis?
I watch WTA because of the tense drama
I watch ATP because of amazing quality of tennis
Im disappointed at the WTA because of the lack of quality in tennis(its not like it use to be)
Im disappointed at the ATP because of the lack of drama(it use to be more drama than now)

Re: Why Do You Prefer Mens Tennis over Women's Tennis?
zero elite level
zero high level
zero advanced level
zero above average level
the only high level in the womens game is that fucking c*nt screaming high decibels
and to think clijsters went out by another screeching harlot
there really is no reason to ever watch the wta
in the mens game you have 3 elite level players
djokovic's tier is not even recorded- he's like broken tier
nadal is advanced elite tier
federer is elite
and on the odd occasion you have murray sneaking into the elite tier discussion
soderling can possibly be advanced tier- which means on his day he can take out the guys above him
tsonga and del potro fit that mould aswell
then you have maybe 20 guys who are above average- and although they will never be elite they still can be entertaining
the mugdasco's
the almugro's
the gasquet, monfils, berdych, ferrer's of the game

Reading threads on tennisforum.com almost literally makes me throw up.

Re: Why Do You Prefer Mens Tennis over Women's Tennis?
I like watching men's tennis when I'm up for a quiet chuck and the occasional laughing fit.
When I feel like experiencing higher and more consistent levels of comedy, I turn to WTA.
So for me its definitely situational.

Re: Why Do You Prefer Mens Tennis over Women's Tennis?
Only in the women's game can a player retire and start a family, only to then come back and win big events. I rest my case.

Re: Why Do You Prefer Mens Tennis over Women's Tennis?
I don't watch WTA because of sound pollution.

And I think the quality is pretty low, too. I used to watch WTA when Justin Henin was in tour. I liked to watch ONLY her match. But as soon as she retired, I stopped to watch WTA.

Re: Why Do You Prefer Mens Tennis over Women's Tennis?
The men are much more interesting to me.
To name names, my reasons are: Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, David Ferrer and Juan Carlos Ferrero. Virtually nobody on the women's side holds my interest in the same way.
There is an unfortunate trend lately for new women champions to emerge in a major tournament, only to seemingly burn out completely in the next major. There is very little consistency.
