there are 18 places for qualifiers...
Lucho is the first ranked from the players that lost today. He should be awarded the 17th place,
but according to some commments on the atperu.org Peruvian Tennis Forum, they are going to raffle the the 17th and 18th spots?
Chino Miranda (the other Peruvian player) has just said that...
Apparently the rules have changed?
Anybody knows?

What happens is that Haas and Grosjean have withdrawn.
The top 4 losers in qualies that would be Lucho, Korolev, de Voest and Ramirez Hidalgo will be placed in a lot and then 2 names are drawn out.

No, he didn't convert 3 bp chances at 2-2 in the 1st set and then lost his serve.
He injured his calf against Starace in Hamburg.

They changed the rules to include all of them. Last year it was the top 4.
