Re: Borna Coric

Yeah, Dzumhur (20) will be top 50 or top 100 regular. Very good player.

Re: Borna Coric
^ Good luck to Borna this week.
Reaching the SF (doable, considering he's the top seed) would lift him to #4 in the world.

He has a problem with atemp of the new conditions, I think.
However big thing is he can play 50:50 matcg vs top 250 talented youngster (Dzumhur).

This week, Borna is playing the G1 in Malaysia. He's defending SF in singles and RU in doubles--and that's exactly where he has gotten this week so far.
If he wins his SF match, he'll pick up an extra 20 points and move up to #4 in the world. Unfortunately, it's against Saito, the guy who beat him last week in Thailand. An encouraging sign is that he has lost only 12 games in three matches this week whereas Saito has lost 26 games.
Better luck to Borna this time!

An encouraging sign is that fact I already stated: he needed a time for suit to conditions (what he was complainig on his FB profile).
EDIT: Borna lost only 4 games vs Saito (3&1). He won doubles title, too.

Re: Borna Coric
Tommorrow will be one rare situation for Borna, he will play vs younger player. The South Korean boy is younger 6 weeks than him and is ranked #83 (CH: #46). The guy is really good, he played final of Eddie Herr and more important (cause Eddie Her isn't strong like it was before) he beated Ymer at AO easily and played 3 setter vs Quinzi at Traralgon (pre-AO tournament). It's seems Japan and South Korea work well with youngsters recently.

Re: Borna Coric
Borna will be world's #4 next week. He even has a chance at #3, but only if he wins the singles title and if Quinzi loses in the SF at Banana Bowl.
