What a tough match to have to watch or follow on livestream. I didn't see it but just saw the scoreline. JC had the first two sets - what happened after that? Did Troicki raise his game or did Juan Carlos start to run out of steam. Certainly, after he lost the fourth set tiebreak, he all but gave up mentally. But he also lost the third set way too easily. Do you think it was a matter of fitness?

Like you all say, JC had a tough first round but he should have taken it in three. (Easy for me to say )

But he does still have the game and there's no pressure on him rankings-wise right now. I think he needs more match play to get into a groove again. Hoping for this certainly.

What a terrible start of the year. Matches like these sadden me as we all know the end is drawing near and he may well hang up his racquet anytime.

It's been 10 years since I started noticing Juanqui and 8 years since I joined this forum. This downward spiral just never seems to end.

Poor Juanqui! I was a latecomer to his fan club, having just noticed him in 2009 during the Davis Cup semis against Israel. How frustrating to have match point twice and wind up losing the match. I hope he is okay and not hurt.

I hope he didn't hurt his ankle again. It has been giving him a lot of trouble lately. Poor Juanqui! He has faced so many injuries.

Do you realize that there used to be moya and correjta forum here but now they are categorize in group called " inactive players " !!! I don't want that day to come
I remember there used to be juanqui.net, jcfonline .....if this place doesn't exist anymore .....I don't know where will I hang out anymore .....

The forums dedicated to Juanqui and Ferru are very kind and respectful as a general rule. Juanqui.net is also a good one. I visit a separate site for Rafa because the talk here is generally very hateful toward him.

I was happy to hear that Juanqui will play for another two years. I was very new to his fanclub and I am glad I get to enjoy him a little while longer.
