Tried to get as many players as I could. Some tournaments and journalists in there too.

Re: Twitter Thread
But you can't catch Nalbandian at http://twitter.com/nalbandiandavid
It's his PR department posting there, not him.

Re: Twitter Thread
This is not personal, I assume all tweeters are doing the same thing. But having clicked on your tweeter account and having read some of the tweets - why in the world would you think that tweeting the score of a tennis match at Wimbledon is something anyone else in the world would want to read when they no doubt have already watched the match or seen the score a million times?
It just seems to me that tweeting is a good word to describe the activity - like a row of birds on a wire all tweeting the same song and listening only to themselves. No doubt there can be some useful stuff there - as in tweeting from the centre of a popular uprising in a land where there is no free press, but I think 999 of 1000 tweets are just the equivalent of static noise, something that is there but not worth listening to.

Re: Twitter Thread
I can't understand ppl's compulsion to share with the world every little thought or deed, as if they were of any value for anyone bar oneself. So pretentious.

Re: Twitter Thread
twitter is like having your own personalised newspaper.
It is the most convenient way to gather diverse sources of opinion and information, from mainstream the media to obscure blogs, that exists.
This notion that everyone on twitter "shares every little thought and deed" is ridiculous. I'm sure there are cretins that use it as such. Don't follow them.

But how do you gather the diverse sources of opinion and how long does it take to do that?
