Auckland QF: Kohlschreiber def. Almagro 7-6(5) 6-4
Yay that's the way Kohli
Played very offensive and it seems he's really enjoying himself atm as he says himself.
Won a tough 1st set without any break of serve and broke for the match in the 2nd when Almagro double faulted.
Paire or Rochus next. Very winnable, should reach the final.

Auckland QF: Kohlschreiber def. Almagro 7-6(7-5), 6-4
Good win kohli
he was actually made to work harder on his own service games. He went down the mb twice in the tiebreaker but came back right away each time. There were no break points at all between the 2 in the 2nd set until the final service game when kohli broke for the match
real shot at a final now.

Re: Auckland QF: Kohlschreiber def. Almagro 7-6(5) 6-4
Kohli was clutch. Fought back in virtually all of his service games.
The df on match point was funny.

Re: Auckland QF: Kohlschreiber def. Almagro 7-6(5) 6-4
 Vintage AlMUGro
He had 0-15 or 15-30 in like 6 or 7 return service games and never capitalised
Went into TB up a mini break twice but threw it back immediately both times
1st serve percentage like a monster before the TB then disappeared in the TB
2nd set holding with ease again until serving to stay in it

Re: Auckland QF: Kohlschreiber def. Almagro 7-6(5) 6-4
That tiebreak was awesome from Kohli, really took it to Nico.
Almagro served tremendously well for most of the match. Alot of free points and 1-2 punches, but he wasn't too good in the rallies. Kohli was more offensive and really stepped up in the rallies, despite alot of chances for Almagro in the first set to get a break.

High quality match! Kohli fully deserved it as he was the aggressor. Nice shotmaking.
This is the Kohli we were used to see 3 years ago.
