Beat the No. 3 Pavic (in straight sets nonetheless) and next faces Peter in the semis of Canada F9. Excellent week.

From what I can tell, his singles ranking will rise to the low to mid 570s

Into the semis at a Futures in Greece, and to face an unseeded opponent next.

Qualified for Granby, but for his hard work gets Mahut in R1, oh well, good exp. for him I suppose.

Rumour is that Mahut might withdraw.

Because he's hurt, or cause he's in the top 100 now?

Anyhow, he didn't WD cause they are playing right now, Milan was serving for the 1st set at 5-4, but choked pretty hard, then in the TB on his 1st SP on Mahut's serve, Mahut totally messed a routine shot into the net to give him the set, they met here in 11', Milan won just 2 games there, he's doing much better today, esp. considering Mahut is in the form of his life, maybe Mahut doesn't care so much, Milan has a nice serve, when it goes in, FH is pretty poor though, he likes to try and get to the net as much as possible.

After taking set 1, Mahut stepped up his game and won the next 2 sets to take the match 6-2, 6-3, decent effort though.

I underestimated Milan, I didn't think he could take a set off Mahut. I think Milan can crack top 300 if he puts in the hard work. His serve and game seems decent.

Well he did serve for the 1st set at 5-4, totally choked it, then got lucky in the TB when Mahut put a routine shot into the net on SP.

Following his results since he began really, I was shocked that he got to as high as he did in 2009 or whenever he had his career high. I would be very surprised if he got to top 300, but that would be nice for him.

Mahut choked. Chokes go both ways. Seems fair to give him his due, he put himself in a winning position in the first set and Mahut missed one.
