Match Point Novak needs to be immortalized in sculpture, like Michelangelo's David. I'm sure that once he's gone to tennis Valhalla, his statue will have his stones as the focal point of attention, and tennis fans will make a meccan-like pilgrimage at least once in their lifetime, in order to rub those lucky stones, like the budda's belly.
For seemingly no reason at all Monfils went down in the second after attempting to return a serve...he just crumpled over. After a long period of being looked at by trainers, wincing and looking just generally uncomfortable... he came back, played and started diving all over the court again.
Not saying he was just tired of being run side to side and needed a rest but...it sure looked that way.

Don't pay attention to samanosuke, it's another Monfils'hater.
Good job for Gaël who got the win although it was difficult and he's not yet focus the whole match. He will have to serve better against Troicki, he had a pretty good serve in first round and i hope it may come back.
