Philipp df Jurgen 6-1, 7-5. Poor Jurgen. I think he needed more match play before this match. He finally got going at the end of the first set when he held serve, but even though he made a fight of it in the second set it was just to late. He needed to win here to have any hope of improving his ranking so as to get seeded at the AO. Tough loss.

Ok I have a personal question regarding Jurgen, when did him and his fiancee break up. I thought they looked and got on well together and why he is dating Benesova?

I can not answer that, only Jurgen can. Mirna always traveled with Jurgen to all his tournaments. This is just my thoughts as I do not know all the facts and would not ask Jurgen as that is his private life. Mirna particiapted in Dancing with the Stars Europe and reached the finals. She also broacast for Austria from the World Swimming meet. Both of these times she was not able to be with Jurgen. I can not remember which one, but one of them kept him away from Wimbledon. I understand from gossip, so it may not be true, he started dating Benesova at that time.
I was sad that he broke up with his fiancee. He played great when she was with him and she is really nice. I met her and spoke with her and you could tell at that time she was madly in love with him. Sometimes things just dont work out the way we fans feel they should

Let us know what you think of Benesovas game, Kristen. I am curious to learn your opinion. I think she can be either up or down. I saw her play and she must have been down. After watching her woman's doubles match I wondered how she and Jurgen ever won Wimbledon. She must have played much better as his partner than what I saw.
I like the team of Melzer/Petzschner. They have now reached the finals in Brisbane. Opponents will be determined today.
