First Set Andy looked great and won 6-2, but he is now down 1-4 in the 2nd Set

Re: 2012 - October - Grand Slam Champion on Asian Tour
GSM Andy 6-2, 3-6, and 6-2 so it wasn't a thing of beauty, but Andy got the job done when he had to

Not too shabby from Andy in the end but that second set sleepwalk was a bit frustrating.

Re: 2012 - October - Grand Slam Champion on Asian Tour
Yup, I agree. He shouldn't have lost his serve like that. I guess he's still Andy Murray after all.
Do you guys favour his chances for tomorrow? He certainly can't afford to go AWOL for awhile during that match.

I kinda wanted Andy to even out that H2H, but oh well. Maybe in Shanghai or Paris or WTF.

I know. It sucks. I don't think I can do 4am two days running.

Meh. Andy loses to Milos 36 76 67.
Milos is becoming a nuisance.

Re: 2012 - October - Grand Slam Champion on Asian Tour
You win some, you lose some... I'm a bit upset, but at the end of the day this was just a 500 event. I can't say I'm surprised either, because I didn't think Andy looked particularly great yesterday. He also lost that doubles match with his brother which was probably a bit disappointing. Hopefully, he'll do better in Shanghai. At least Raonic is not in his half of the draw there.
I think after the year he had, everything he does from this point on is a bonus.

He looked like the "old" Andy having temper fits I hate to see that and being upset doesn't help his playing any at all!

Re: 2012 - October - Grand Slam Champion on Asian Tour
Not bothered about this result. Andy has had an amazing but also tough year. Any physical or mental tiredness is acceptable and atleast he chose the right match to beat Raonic.
The haters on GM are pretty funny though. They are trying to convince themselves that this loss devalues Andy's slam or something.
