True but he's now had 3 weeks hitting on it, even if his matches haven't gone well. And you know that a slam is what he's focusing on. I think he'll play himself into the tournament, though I still expect an ugly match somewhere. Possibly Lopez or Haase (again!) in R3.
I like to see Andy look in form and focused. And the few chances I have had to see him on TV. He looks like the Andy before he won the Gold Medal However that Gold Medal didn't come on a hard court, but actually since it was there in England it couldn't have been more perfect for Andy Still I have read about a lot of players that have a let down after the Olympics so I hope the Andy I have seen on hard courts was having a let down from the Olympics. But now with a Slam coming up I hope he can focus on the Slam like he did the Olympics. I have just wanted Andy to win the USO for so many years now perhaps that is wearing on me!

Done onto round 2 analysing a 1R match of a GS in detail when he won in straights is unnecessary, he was nervous, and managing tricky conditions yet people were expecting a flawless performance! i'm just happy with a win.

Hopefully this is his crappy match and he'll play better from here on out.
