omg! seriously i knew he was a great player...but I always questioned his consistency. You think he'll break the top 20? He has to defend a couple of titles from last year.

Yes, I do!!!

Look, he lost Wimby first round last year. With a good draw he can play R3 and Marcel needs 70 points to reach top 20. Yes, then he needs to defend Gstaad but there is few tournament until it. I think he won't stay around top 20 after he loses the points but it isn't that much. Valencia will be harder on ranking.

No idea.. He has facebook and twitter site too but no idea. In November my pick was 'no' because I didn't see any girl with him in public when he won Valencia but who knows since that.

I thought he was going to have a career year this year, I thought perhaps top 16, but maybe it won't happen?

The thing is though, this is Marcel, he can win titles right out of the blue, just like Gstaad and Valencia.

I would like to see him have a really deep run in a big tournament though, beating some really good players, as that will give him the most confidence!

He can reach the top 20 at least. He loses Gstaad points on 30th July only.
If he wins tomorrow, he is #21. That's close and he has one more tournament so he can do it even if for a week only.
And he might have other chances until Valencia too.
