There are a couple other posters who post here often who were nominated, and can currently be voted for like misty1, Lee, Snowwy, and ibreak4coffee. Just bold the names of who you want to vote for.

yeah, that annoys me. Even coverage here, aside from the major competitions is poor. One of the big discussions we have in curlzone right now is that we think there should be more television or even web coverage

I can't stand Colleen, never could
I watch whatever I can I TV, and follow other events on worldcurlingtour.com whenever I got nothing better to do. I usually am a lot more interested when Gushue is playing an event though.

Should be interesting to see if they hang on. I'm not convinced they are a good team, but with Reimer still out and coming back eventually, they could be even higher maybe?

I just think Eve is very pretty, but she is also quite good. I'm also a big fan of Rachel Homan. Is curling your favorite sport?

Re: Off Topic Chat Thread
1) We are reinforcing all stereotypes about Canadians here
2) How about that amazing Real Madrid-Barcelona game this Saturday. No one? Really?
3) Leafs will finish 7th and get steamrolled in the first round. But I'm seeing great things so far.
4) Don Cherry is the worst thing to ever come out of Canada
5) Curling is boring - except at the Olympics
6) Please vote in the MTF Canada 2012 Predictions thread
I will vote for you all in the popcon - even you Snowwy "who cant vote because I have to try and remain impartial"

Reimer is back, came back 9 days ago and is 0-2-1 since his return. He hasn't played great but he's been decent, the team has been horrid on tthe penalty kill for him, I'm hoping he returns to form soon, but at least he's still leading the all star voting for goalies

I was thinking a few weeks ago that there needs to be a chat thread here

The thread needs a more exciting name... like "Coffee and Donuts Canadian chat" or "Hoser Chat for CDNs and their non-skating pals"

Re: Off Topic Chat Thread
Andre, i didnt see your pics, been awfully busy, but i know you're in fact half european with the amount of time you spend on the "old continent"
i'm surprised to hear from Mike though that soccer is the #1 of most actively played sports there... i'd give hockey a try or some us-related sports... i know Alex' Wozniak dad was a pro player and this is why they emigrated from poland to canada...
funny thing is that you guys don't have a pro volleyball league (only college) and one of the best volleyball coaches in the world is Canadian
as for voting, other mods do it without a problem... but i can get where the point to abstain comes from and gets my respect

Did Barcelona win? And I really enjoy Don Cherry, even though I frequently disagree, he does raise some good points. I will vote in the prediction thread, just haven't had any time lately and probably won't until Christmas.

It's been that way for a while. Soccer is really cheap with nighttime practice whereas hockey is expensive and has 6 AM practices. If you were a parent, which would you choose?
