I would lean towards jrm's suggestion. We haven't played a full year, so it would be good to start afresh. Also, I would like to make as many changes to the game as needed, so starting anew would be appropriate.

League table updated! jrm looks to have secured his third title... unless Nalbandian loses. #2 and #3 are very close, as are #4, #5 and #6. The final could be important in deciding the order of the players in those ranges.
