That is not upheld. Certain posters are allowed to repeatedly and directly accuse a certain player of doping, while others are banned for imagined doping accusations against a different player. Sometimes, you even punish posters for simply sharing allegations made by player X against player Y.

When it says that someone is perma-banned, then he's permabanned. Otherwise the whole perma-ban system is laughable.

Tell me about it. I got 2 weeks ban for using the word EPO.
I don't get the omerta arround this topic. There have been important names caught doping in the history of the game (Korda, Puerta, Coria, Rusedski). Why can't we talk freely about this subject?

Re: 2011 What Would You Change About MTF? thread
The policy is there has to be proof. The only one I remember the facts about of the players you mentioned is Coria. He did test positive so, if my understanding is right, once that information came out you would have been free to have talked about it. (Mods correct me, if I'm wrong about this). He was suspended for two years, but claimed the only supplement he was taking was a multivitamin. The vitamin was tested and found to be contaminated with steroids. His suspension was reduced to 7 months which had already been served. Coria sued the company and settled for an undisclosed amount of money.

Hopefully the power tripping moderators are snuffed out. We need this forum to go back to how it was. We don't need this forum tightly wound up just to feed some modertor's egos.

Re: 2011 What Would You Change About MTF? thread
I am a big fan of agreeing to disagree. I also accept that it is impossible to reason with some people/internet personas. Occasionaly I come to believe that I am better off not reading what a certain poster posts. So I use the "ignore user" function and mute certain characters and save myself a few seconds of despair, frustration and disbelief in the future generations here and there.
Of course, not everybody's like me. Many posters choose to respond to said characters and often they quote the said characters' post, which is a totally normal and acceptable action.
Unfortunately, this spoils my "ignore user" function and suddenly I have to read an obnoxious comment of which I had opted out ages ago.
I would love it if it were possible to ignore certain posters when quoted as well. If not, no biggie, I'll live.

Unlimited repping. This "you've given out too much reputation within the past 24 hours" thing is seriously hindering my Mr MTF campaign for leng jai.

I agree with you completely about this, but I don't see anyway once someone has quoted something that it could be blocked.

Re: 2011 What Would You Change About MTF? thread
Can you put the rep system back the way it was? This new one is very annoying. Especially to take me all the way to another screen to tell me "you must spread some reputation around blah blah blah blah" and then not take me back to the page I came from. Bring back the pull down menu and pop-up window. thxbye.

I have even been banned for 6 months by one admin, from which i received and insult in my ban message. Literally 2 minutes after I did the post for which I got banned. This meant he also pulled the trigger by himself. SHouldnt bans be at least discussed with one more admin? In this way just by personal things you can get banned...
I am talking from my experience, and i know there have been lots of cases like this.
Also since mods arent getting paid, and there are other users who would gladly make the job, i think mods should be at least go through a period of voting or some sort of town approval. I found that most users do not like some of the mods and think they are not the correct ones for their jobs.
Also its very very annoying that you cant talk about tennis on GM because the forum is full of trolls insulting each other, and making no posts about real tennis, basically the forum is destroyed to read or talk about tennis and is destroyed to socialize because of external forces.
You should re consider your methods before this place completely collapses.

So ive got banned for a month, for using the word faggot in a post, instead of using the word gay, just trying to make a normal paragraph. Not using it against anyone in particular, but just replacing gay with faggot in a sentece. 1 month, just like that.
Just using the search fucntion i see this
http://www.menstennisforums.com/show...4&postcount=13
http://www.menstennisforums.com/show...postcount=1200
http://www.menstennisforums.com/show...23&postcount=8
I could probably find thousands of cases like this, i guess they all got a 1 month ban?
Mods, especially some of them, take things too personally and attack some users.
I even got a 1 point penalty by one of the admins first, but then got banned by another one, who casually is the guy who is always against me, and always ends up banning me. He even copy pasted me the definition of faggot from wikipedia
Who checks on the admins? these guys do whatever they want with no supervision at all....
