Thank you

CoolyBri is right here.
It´s sad but the lucky loser for 1st round is the one with the better ranking

imo and this can be discussed by the board hopefully, that the LL not win on ranking.. its kinda unfair but that's the rule atm.

At Este I have one player who used the wrong OOP (he sent for sunday's matches instead of monday's), so he will lose with 0 correct picks.
His opponent did not send, but will be replaced by an LL.

Do I have to adjust the draw so that the LL won't get a "bye" to the 2nd round or is that LL just lucky to advance?

I haven't managed since last year but I'd like to take Szczecin CH*. One question though - why does it have an asterisk next to it?

CoolyBri, my first reaction was that if a player sent picks you can't replace him with a LL. But upon further consideration, the player sent 0 valid picks so that's practically the same as not sending picks at all. I don't know...

It's a 120p CH not 90p as usual.

-Evita- : it's a challenger high with 120 points for the winner, I guess

Okay. I didn't know they were so rare it warranted an asterisk But that's great. It may be the only tournament I manage this year so I'll try to make it good

CoolyBri, I thought about it some more and I think you should replace the player who sent invalid picks. But you may want to wait to see what others think.

It doesn't really affect the player who sent the wrong picks, but I think you can count him as not having sent picks at all, as all picks were incorrect. So I would change the draw!

I agree here.
Sending picks from the wrong day is basically sending no picks

For me wrong pick is different of no pick.

Back from my summer job and would like to get back into managing.

I can take the Trnava CH if you need someone.

I'm asking the board, in Istanbul futures (in principle) started today and would finish on Saturday.

Doubles first round was one day round but in real tournament, they played only the half of first round matches.
It really should be one day round on doubles?

Default Re: Tennis Tipping Managers 2012 - Need managers for September

I need some help placing ALTs in USO Qualies

A/B vs. C/D
E/F vs. G/H
J/K vs. L/M

I have 2 ALT teams that sent.

B, F, J, K and L don't send.

I currently just place the two ALT teams against each other, because I have to place one team at least in the 3rd match. And if I place another ALT team in one of the 1st 2 matches, then it's not fair to the team whose opponents get replaced vs. the other team whose opponents don't get replaced and they get an essential bye.

Is that right?

Yes, in this case the ALTS should play each other
