So, just a little over 3.000 points between 1st and 3rd. Up until the end of Wimby, Nole defends 5.970, Nadal 5.345 and Fed 2.510, if my math is correct. So, I tell you, If Federer wins Wimbledon, I´m stating today, 18-03-2012, that he will be Nº1 imediately after that, even without the Olympics or the US Masters Series and US Open (and even if he decided not to play Monte Carlo, as he did).
This gem needs to be Quoted for Truth, I see this poster didn't even come back to boast his prediction. Modesty incorporated.

Fed was obviously doing that same math himself to achieve his goal.

Great prediction bro.

Once upon a time there was a myth about strong and weak eras. On this glorious day the clownery was eventually unmasked: 30 y.o. past-prime daddy Fed became #1 once again in the supposed strong "Spartan" era with his rivals at their peak.
And they all lived happily ever after.
Long live King Federer!

I still can't believe that Fed gets back to number #1 !!

In the past, it seems so easy. This time, he had to work hard over 20 months' period to get it back, despite evrybody writing him off. He must be very pleasd with it (sweetest number #1).

Hail the Chief !

Seems a case he got really pissed off ( in a good way) from his loss at the US last year and made it his mission to get it back.

I'd say no way, but with Roger you never know .

I just hope that he clears the 300 weeks milestone (seems likely at the moment!), so he'll be alone with over 300 weeks

Only Del Potro can take him out before the semis, and he won't. Nadal is winning the AO, bet your house on it.
Somewhere out there, there is a homeless person who once took betting advice from GSMnadal

The scary part is the total Slam titles... He's short 5 with 4 more seasons to go. I did not think he could do it, but now that more parity seems to be looming for the ATP, he could get close to both.

Yep, maybe in ten years we will realise that in these days Rogie had a lot of titles in front of him.

As I remember Slams record overall has Court, not Steffi if we are speaking not about Open era only. That record is eternal, even GOAT can`t get that much.

I'm no Fakervic fan but he needs to save tennis, sadly tree trunk legs will be fresh. Interesting he's never questioned...
