I started watching in the 4th set and he played some good points but it looked like a very nervy match. Sometimes you just have to get through those matches and it's good that he did. He will have to raise his level against Almagro.

Very happy with the W! Grigor actually was able to keep his cool this time and win the match! He needs to improve his backhand ASAP if he is to have any chance against Almagro!

[i]Great!He found the way to win it when he isnt at his best..next is Almagro...after Fish,Almagro is a great top 10 player to meet Grigor ,we all know Grigor show his best against top 10 players and against Almagro it will be enough, 2nd round here we come =))

There is an article here claiming that Grigor has pain in his knees... I don't know if this info is reliable or not, but I hope it won't affect his game tomorrow...

I hope he's okay, he will need to play his best tennis against Almagro. I have high hopes and if he plays the kind of attacking tennis he did at The Hopman Cup, he can win this match.

He played a sloppy game where he hardly got a 1st serve in and lost his service. The next service game he served a lot better and won it to 30. He's not playing his best at the moment so there's definitely room for improvement.
