Let's hope you're right about Murray's downfall He has been ranked too hight for too long.

Re: Year end top 10 predictions
Well Tsonga is 9th in the Race, so to get to 4th he's got some work to do. Good thing Grass is coming. Meet your new Wimbledon Champion. Jo Wilfried Tsonga

This would be the best thing to happen in tennis for years. No one deserves a maiden Slam more than Jo, such an awesomely entertaining player.

He's got shitloads to defend from now (bar the Rogers Cup), and then he's got that perfect Asian swing where he has like 1750 points to defend. Tsonga, although perhaps scarred for life, can at least still take some advantage here.
Don't get me wrong, I want Tsonga to win a slam but I'm just intermingling with reality here.

Yeah, but he will also plenty of easy draws as per usual to rack up the points. I expect him to lose #4, but to Del Potro next year, which will be followed by a slide down the rankings.
Jo is awesome but consistency isn't his forte. Would love to see him do it, but just can't. Can more easily see him win a Slam than being consistent enough to be ranked in the top 4.

Re: Year end top 10 predictions
Yeah Murray hasn't done much this year, and will have to defend points to keep number 4, but the same goes for Tsonga except worse, 8 other players have more points than him this year. Like I said Good thing Grass is coming. As of now Ferrer would be the one to take Murray's number 4 if Murray can't defend his points, but Berdych and Delpo are pretty close too

Just so I'm clear, is this for the race or the entry?

True. It's the beauty of being ranked so high . Cakedraws galore.
Well first of all, it's a question of Tsonga is able to recover from the loss (you know what I'm talking about). Otherwise, overall, there isn't much to say about him right now. Same here but it seems so unlikely. Not to mention the top 3, although not playing all that great IMO, are still too damn strong for him (ie. consistency wise).

Who cares? It's for the end of the year, so it's the same, no?

Well, let's hope he bounces back by taking Queens next week Let's keep positive. He really should sweep through the weak field, Mugray is the toughest opponent ffs.
