Simon played a great match at the USO to beat Del Potro, and a close match against Isner. He got owned on the clay in DC, but no big deal- Nadal and the other Spaniards are great on clay. Then he plays another close three setter against Murray, loses, again no biggie- but since then he's had 3 bad losses. I wonder what's bothering him.

Gilles hasn't really been all the way there these last few events but Adrian has been really struggling for wins, and this is a huge victory for him for many reasons. Hopefully he builds on this.
