Pan Am Games: Marcelo Arevalo def. Eduardo Schwank 6-4 6-1
Marcelo Arevalo is the number 659 in ATP Ranking Singles and he is from El Salvador.
Scores from Pan Am Games: http://info.guadalajara2011.org.mx/E...@@@@@@@ESP.htm
I hope that this result is wrong.

Arevalo played college tennis at Tulsa. Solid #1 player for the Golden Hurricanes for a few years.

Re: Pan Am Games: Marcelo Arevalo def. Eduardo Schwank 6-4 6-1
Haven't heard anything from the Arevalo brothers in a while, nice to see Marcelo get a good win and he's still young.
I hope the result is correct.

Yeah got a feeling these two brothers could have achieved more in pro tennis... I regret they didn't turn pro.

Re: Pan Am Games: Marcelo Arevalo def. Eduardo Schwank 6-4 6-1
Yes, Marcelo does still have time on his side, but (excluding this win) his Futures results this year aren't exactly indicitave of someone who's ready move on up just yet.
I guess Rafael is no longer playing seriously and has taken on the role of coaching Marcelo. Unfortunately it doesn't look like they're able to travel much outside of South America.

Re: Pan Am Games: Marcelo Arevalo def. Eduardo Schwank 6-4 6-1
Remember when Schwank was the #2 junior and was supposed to be a great player in the future Another clown who has wasted his life in an ATP tour full of them

Great win for Celo, he's got so much potential but he's definitely a headcase.

Bad luck, he retired against Alejandro Gonzalez at 3-5 after spraining his ankle.

I just remembered that he was defaulted against Shabaz in the NCAA singles tournament last year because of too many profanities. So yeah sounds like a headcase
