Re: Does anyone like indoor tennis?
And YEC is great!
It's unique, the 8 are all playing, they all play each other in RR format, and it shows who has the biggest talent because it eliminates the mug and fluke factors.

the only thing it eliminates is real tennis. the surface was slicker than ice. Why else were the players complaining and some of the tennis experts saying that it was not fit for play, even dangerous?

Re: Does anyone like indoor tennis?
it's good to see variety after a year of slow courts.
of course if all year was indoor-fast it would also be very boring, balance is needed.

Re: Does anyone like indoor tennis?
Used to.. When the top guys actually gave a shit about it. Now its just another tournament with pretty much no meaning at the end of the year at a time when guys don't want to play

LOL at how it's only the Fed haters who suddenly hate indoor tennis.

Book this.
Winning this means nothing. Federer will have a worse 2012 than he did 2011
|
Read your "Federer will fall thread". You said he would be number 5 or 6 by the end of 2010, he was number 2. This year he ended number 3.
Although he might end the year worse then number 3 don't be surprised if he briefly reaches number one next year after Wimby and before Basel. He just collected 3000 points and the other big four collected each under 500.

Re: Does anyone like indoor tennis?
no. it's not real tennis. if you can't deal with wind you are not a tennis player then. give up and play basketball or else.

ROGER FEDERER: No, Roger Federer doesn't pull out. Otherwise he doesn't walk on court (smiling).
After losing to Nalbandian in 2005 TMC final...

Re: Does anyone like indoor tennis?
If Nadal won more on indoor surfaces, this thread would have never been made.
