Also GB should get more golds than Russia.

I'll be cheering for Liu Xiang to beat Merritt in 110m hurdle and also Li to beat Williams in tennis.

From an Australian perspective that 4 x 100m freestyle relay win by the womens was unexpected. I had marked down 3 gold medals for Australia in the pool.

From the heats I thought they had a very good chance,a great win by the girls!The third leg was like a premiership quarter and the teenager produced the goods as well as been the youngest member of that team! |

Aus women's bball team is missing Penny Taylor big time!Snell a starter is a complete joke,it's unfortunate Michelle Timms was in a different generation,how she would love to have been playing now with Loz and Cambage and who knows with Taylor they could e had a team that would've got over the line against the USA!

I won't bet on Liu Xiang anyway.I think the odds is set right. I'm not quite sure about the form of Liu.The guy is foxy and you cannot really know what he is plannning. But I'm sure he'll fight hard. If he's 100% fit,he should win the whole thing.
Meanwhile I'm on Ye Shiwen in 200m individual Medlay@1.72. The 16 year old girl is amazing. You know what?
She is faster than Lochte in their last 50m freestyle of 400m individual Medlay respectively.
We can win at least 4 golds in swimming adding Sun's 1500m freestyle,3 more than in Beijing.
btw,Li Na is a tool!

Australian mens 4 x 100m freestyle come into this Olympics pretty cocky headed by Magnussen and they don't even medal 
Magnussen a false favourite now in the 100m freestyle with that shocking relay swim. Roberts was even worse.
