Default Stan the Man saved us from another tedious Djokovic/Murray encounter.

I bow to you, sir. I don't hate the Djokovic/Murray as much as the next guy, but their last few meetings have been substandard at best.

I wanted to see Nadal/Murray, but we'll have to wait for that.

If Stan vs. Djokovic is half as good as their previous encounter at the AO, I'll die happy.

Unlikely to have a repeat of their AO encounter but anything is better than Gymnast/Bodybuilder matches at GS level.

Now if he beats Nole somehow, he has put the gun to tennis' head and pulled the trigger. He means well but might give the title to Rafa without him having to break a sweat.

The main thing is Djokovic will be more fresh for his duty in the final.

But yes, Djokorray encounters are rarely any fun either

Because they move good and have awesome returns. Djokovic can play much aggressively then Murray, but Murray could easily catch and force UE, because he can defend better then Djokovic (my opinion). Match between those two are always about tactical approach , not much candy eye play tho. Murray even when dominates makes average winners or non existent net play.

So either risk or play dull game

I think Murray saved us that as much as Stan. Murray didn't even bother showing up today.

Not as much of a mug as Wawrinka has been his entire career

that only makes it more embarrassing for your boy. He lost to, as you would probably put it, "fraud's swiss lapdog"

Djokovic-Murray is the big 4 worst match-up IMO, it's usually grindfests between the two of them (a close one is Djokovic-Nadal because it is basically a endurance competition, I still remember that awful AO final where the two of them almost collapsed at the end )

Not as embarrassing as being humiliated/routined by Darcis/Robredo/Metzer etc.

Wawrinka is Fraud's lapdog, not sure why the obvious needs stating?
