Beijing SF: Berdych def. Tsonga 6-4 4-6 6-1
Berdman into a final, it's been a while. First 2 sets were close, but last set Berdych raised his game.
30 all point in the last game was class.

Tsonga wasn't great but he wasn't allowed to be, such a bad match up for him! Berdych was goddamn awesome bar the game he got broken in the second set though. First final in 15 months! Entertaining stuff! Come on!

Re: Beijing SF: Berdych def. Tsonga 6-4 4-6 6-1
Berdych should have won in straight sets. He was clearly better in all sets- even that 2nd was close he always was more dominant on his service games and had BP chances, but that at 4 all he choked and lost that set even that he had chances for rebreak.

If Clownga hadn't gifted that break to 3-1 for Tomas it would have been interesting to see the rest.
Bird deserved to win though and not to choke again.. He played very good and after the break in the 3rd he played without nerves again.

Re: Beijing SF: Berdych def. Tsonga 6-4 4-6 6-1
Berdych was pretty dominant in most rallies, playing quite smart in fact. Wasn't as entertaining as I'd hoped but impressed with Berdych's performance, Jo didn't have the answers today and probably should have lost in straights..

Yes I agree it should have been a straight sets win for Tomas, but he really choked 4 all in the second set. Still Tomas' best perfomance in a while so kudos.
