Re: Yves Allegro
He is a very friendly guy, who is Roger's best friend on the tour.
He comes from the Valias region, his father is Italian descent and he speaks French, Swiss German/German, English and Italian.
Is trying to get his singles ranking down, but mainly concentrating on his doubles this year.

Re: Yves Allegro
He is concentrating on doubles? Hadn't noticed that at all.
In my opinion, Yves is a good grass court player. He gets very, very frustrated if he loses and unfortunately he hasn't managed much more than qualifying a few times.

Re: Yves Allegro
He doesn't have the best return of serve under pressure and his groundstrokes are up and down, he should be doing a bit better in singles than he is, but there are many people with more talent who are like that.

Re: Yves Allegro
Any reason why his concentrating on doubles?
Just had a look at his singles record and it isn't *that bad* so with a bit of luck he court certainly get his ranking far up

Re: Yves Allegro
I think his doubles ranking is reasonable now, he can get into most tournaments even though he has only won 1 title.
That being the case this is a direct quote " I gonna try to play some singles qualies to try to get back to a better ranking...but my priority is doubles..."
He can get in the doubles, so the events he enters, he'll try and qualify for my singles events he got in Scottsdale.
He is much better on the faster surfaces, but he needs to improve his concentration and sometimes his returns aren't great, though he made the one on the match point in the Davis Cup.

Re: Yves Allegro
Allegro will play Wimbledon doubles with Kohlmann and their first round opponents are the 16th-seeded Julian Knowle and Nenad Zimonjic.
Good Luck Allegro/Kohlmann!

Re: Yves Allegro
It seems like Yves responds to questions asked by fans quite frequently I asked him a question about Rotterdam
