Re: Most tactically stupid player on tour?
Blake and Monfils easily. Blake doesn't ever have a game plan and Monfils thinks his checks are written by Guy Laliberte

Yes it is really that way everytime this year when he lost he said he's gonna find a way to beat him ... but he is continuing to moonball ....

Everko my old friend where is Federer on the list?
Answer to the poll is Gulbis, Blake and Monfils.

That's only because we can't vote for Monfils.

Re: Most tactically stupid player on tour?
Federer and Berdych both deserve to win this for their beyond clownish tactics against Gasquet in Rome.

Re: Most tactically stupid player on tour?
I don't understand why Monfils is not in this poll, he is by far the most clueless player out there and definitely wins the clueless/talent ratio contest. he never has a real plan and when he does ( which is never ahhaa) he has no plan B.
Monfils just spontaneously goes for shots or grinds his way around the court and waits for a moment to get an incredible save and excite the crowd. what kind of strategy is waiting for your opponent to hit winners so you can miraculously save them? have fun with the crowd but lose the match strategy? it's very odd

dolgopolov definitely comes off as somebody who's not quite sure about his strategy.....pretty much an instinctive player, just goes out there and plays to his liking......that type of thinking won't cut it in this era......consistency is the most rewarding aspect in this era......

Re: Most tactically stupid player on tour?
I was thinking Monfils and then I remembered every drop shot that Gulbis ever hit.

Re: Most tactically stupid player on tour?
Roddick has peaks and troughs though - the match against Murray in 2009 was tactically one of the best matches he's played.
I think Berdych is pretty tactically inept.
