He has stopped working with Malcor. He's in australia with his brother who is not great in tennis If he needs help he knows that Guy, Roux or Amelie can help him. His dream is still to reach a quarter or a semi in GS.

He's playing Bogomolov in round 2 really a good draw to play next Murray.

I watched some of Bogomolov's matches in Sydney. He's still a bit of a headcase. I say it's doable...

He beats Bogomolov in five sets. He plays the second round of doubles tomorrow well today in Australia.

News from french journalists who were at his press conference today his wife is expecting their third child a girl. The birth should be during wimbledon. Big family for Mika.

Thus far in 2012 in singles, Mika has a 7-6 record. He made it to the finals of Marseille in mid-February beating Chiudinelli, Dolgopolov, Olivetti and Tipsarevic before losing to Del Potro in the finals. He also won a match in Indian Wells, winning a final set tiebreak vs Gulbis in the first round before retiring vs Jo in the second round. In Miami he lost in the first round 4-6 6-7 to Rosol.

In doubles, he's in the doubles QF with Nenad and they're playing Bhupathi/Bopanna later today as the last match on the grandstand court. Hopefully the boys can pull through with the victory! Mika and Nenad are 10-3 in doubles this season with a title in Rotterdam, beating Lindstedt/Tecau in the final. Mika also won with Julien over Nestor/Raonic in Davis Cup to help France advance over Canada. Mika will be playing again next week in DC with Julien against the US in Monte Carlo. Hopefully Mika can win the doubles this week, as an American, though, I can't root for France over the US in Davis Cup

An interview about him DC double OG. Summary to follow later in the day

Mika talks about his status in DC where he can be the leader aside the courts and how the loss in Belgrade can have affected him. He says that he always felt that people waiting more on him than in his partner in doubles along the years. About not playing doubles with Bennet in London he says it's a choice of FFT and felt sorry about the guys. He doesn't play with a french guy along the year because sometimes there is a bit of weriness when you play all the year with a same partner.
About the DC captain the journalist says that it's a kind of mafia tradition who let the players to chose the captain Llodra says players give their opinion bt then federation make the choice. They already talk together and two names break and one especially. He and Tsonga are OK on one name but Llodra says many things can happened will the guy be OK available in his life that's will be complicated.

I can understand Mika feeling the pressure on the doubles team since it is true, everyone looks at him to be the savior. It's tough but he's done a great job in such a situation. I also understand not wanting to play with a French player the whole year since it's hard to mix friendship and business, the decision of DC captain.........it's a lot to think about, but Mika does a great job of playing without these stresses when playing for France. The loss vs Troicki was tough but overall he's always given his best and I'm sure will do so again this weekend.

His wife entered in maternity during his match against Fognini but it was not yet the moment. Mika is not focused on his tennis. He wanted to play doubles today but they are not on the schedule. He stays in Wimbledon for Arno but can leave at any moment.

He has a poor season since Marseille. With 3 kids at home the motivation to travel won't be easy to find.
