He says he felt a pain in the right thigh, he had already felt it in Dubai and in Davis Cup and he made things worse last year in the same situation when he tried to play on the slow surface of IW (it's not like he tried hard last year either, he tanked big time against Richie), so he preferred to "not take any risk" this time since he has big goals for RG, Wimby and the DC. ^^

If he takes as he said one month of break after Miami he won't play a lot on clay and with no seed spot he has to pray for a good draw to do a good RG like 2 years ago. On grass he has more chances to a good season if no injury is coming.

In spite of a good RG in 2008, clay doesn't suit to his game, of course he has more chances on grass, but RG is important to him as a parisian - and proud of being !

We know why Amelie was attended to the training sessions of Mika at Queen's She helps him a bit like a coach assistant especially on grass where Mika has big goals. He has already a good draw in Queen's and two sets winners are more easy for him than the 3 sets winner. The fact is never go through the second round in Wim is indeed quite funny but for Wimbledon maybe we have to wait his draw while he can do a big thing here in London or Eastbourn next week.

Funny is not the word I'd use for Mika in wimby. That's just frustrating he can't reach at least the quarter with his game. He's never lucky with the draw, and when the draw is ok, he's injured.
Like so many french players, he's not regular, not always serious (even if he improved) and his talent wasted.
That's surprising his better result in gd slam is in RG on clay !

I wonder why Amelie is in England. Funny to see her training with Mika anyway. I don't think she's better than any man but..why not

For the moment it works. He beats Cilic and will face Murray or Fish as of course this match was not ended today Bennet and Mika are aslo in quarter in doubles with a winnable round.

he's in semi in eastbourn against Dolgopolov. Dolgo on grass is not a tough opponent i think he had a lovely draw to reach the semi. Istomin is a good player on grass and could be tough in final but he has his chance for the title again. A training session with amelie in London last week http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zp9-aRGEyRs

New association, mika & amelie. She's found a new job !!! LOL

Great pics. So funny to see him hug her whereas she's nor his wife nor his coach.

BRAVO MIKA !!! I'm happy for him. Just a pity he'll play Roddicl at second round in wimbly... pffff he deserves much more than a second round.
(wait and see... there is a first round before ! lol)

Default Re: Michael Llodra

His goal are the semi very motivated lately

« Mon objectif ?

Passé cet obstacle (6-4, 6-4, 6-7, 6-3), un autre, toujours made in US, l’attend demain : Andy Roddick.
