A thread for brazilians! They're so rare in tennis these days, LOL.

If there was more investments in brazilian tennis I'm sure the likes of Thiago Alves, Bruno Rosa and Raony Carvalho would have the chance to do well in the ATP Tour. I've seen them play on TV (I live in the middle-north so there's about zero tennis around here) and they're quite good. Not to mention that Ricardo Mello, Andre Sa and Flavio Saretta would also be doing a lot better.

But CBT (Brazilian Tennis Confederation) is a mess and when we think it's made a step forward, it goes back to where it was. I hope they don't make our "top" players withdraw from Davis Cup, at least.

Talking Re: BRAZILIAN BOYS!

PERFIL

FLAVIO SARETTA

Nascimento: 28 de junho de 1980
Local: Americana/SP
Altura: 1,85m
Peso: 70 kg
Destro, com esquerda de duas mãos
Profissional desde 98
Melhor ranking de entradas: 67º, em julho de 2002
Raquete: Babolat Pure Control, grip L3, tensão 64 libras
