Yeah it looks like he will play tomorrow or the day after. Oh well at least I'll have one or two normal days at work without obsessive livescore checking every 30 seconds
Me too ..Glad they are showing his match on the Tennis Channel at 8 am so I don't have stay glued to the livescore...Will be great to see him play on grass on live television ...Hope he beats Petz, but sucks to have to get up at 8 am to watch him...He better not lose!!'
Mirza Basic def. Jerzy Janowicz 7-6(5) 3-6 7-6(5) kinda shock by this result I thought he would have won in straight sets, & I game it will take time for him too get used too grass but I think his game should bring him success on grass in the future

Pretty bad start of the grasscourt season for Jerzy but it's better that it happened in Halle so he still has time to analyze what happened and will be able to regroup before Wimbly. I'm sure it's nothing serious and he improves in the next weeks
Jerzy has withdrawn from The Boodles Challenge (elbow problems) but there's no danger of pulling out of Wimbledon.
i expected this, cause of what he said in his press conference, anyway the boodles was just about training, i hope as well he take sometime off after wimbledom, because i believe he has better chances of winning valuable points in august tournaments.
If anyone is interested, JJ's father says Jerzy is healthy now and they have high hopes for Wimbledon.
Right now JJ practices in his hometown, they don't have any artificial grass courts there but they try to find fastest courts possible.
He also adresses the fact that youngsters on ATP are not consistent enough yet - JJ, Nishikori or Tomic can win with best but also lose to unknown players. The team is working on this but in the longer perspective - it means they expect Jerzy to be in Top10 in two years, mostly thanks to his unbelievable force and unconventional shot selection.
They're also finalising next year's exhibition match between JJ and Federer in Poland and they hope to set a new attendance record for a tennis match
